JEE Main 2023 admit card: Dress code for exam day
One of the important instructions that candidates need to be aware of is the dress code for the exam day. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified a certain dress code that candidates must adhere to on the day of the examination.
What is 75% eligibility criteria?
The 75% eligibility criteria for JEE Main is a requirement for candidates who wish to qualify for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) that base their admissions on JEE Main ranks. It means that such candidates must have scored at least 75% marks in their Class 12 or equivalent examination or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.
Necessary documents to carry on exam day JEE Main 2023
Candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam must carry the following documents to the test center on the day of the examination:
1. A clear printout of the JEE Main admit card along with the self-declaration form, which must be filled in and downloaded from the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. One passport-size photograph (the same one that was uploaded on the JEE Main application form) for pasting on the attendance sheet at the exam center.
3. Any one of the authorized photo IDs such as a school ID card, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card with photograph, e-Aadhaar with photograph, ration card with photograph, Class 12 board admit card with photograph, or bank passbook with photograph. It is important that the photo ID is original, valid, and non-expired.
4. PwD certificate issued by an authorized medical officer, if claiming relaxation under PwD category.
5. A simple transparent ballpoint pen for writing the examination.
It is important for candidates to double-check that they have all the necessary documents before leaving for the exam center. They should also arrive at the exam center well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush.
